This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking. It is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) in server logs to deliver the site securely — legal basis: legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The sections below describe the OmniPiano app.
Microphone and MIDI input used for wait-mode note detection are processed on your device to follow your playing. Audio is not recorded, transmitted or stored. [Confirm at implementation.]
The free tier is supported by advertising. Before any advertising identifiers are used, you are asked for consent through a consent-management prompt, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time in settings. Choosing the ad-free subscription removes advertising entirely. Advertising partners and the categories of data they process are listed here: [list of ad partners / TCF vendors].
We use service providers (hosting, crash reporting, payment for the subscription, advertising) that process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements. A current list is available here: [list of processors].
Where data is processed outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. [Detail per processor.]
Account and learning data are kept while your account exists and deleted within [period] of account deletion, except where law requires longer. Diagnostics are kept for [period].

By using OmniPiano you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
OmniPiano is a piano-learning app: guided practice of pieces from our Library, and of scores you import yourself. Features and Library content may change over time.
You register with an email address and are responsible for keeping access to it secure. One account is for one person.
Use the app for personal, non-commercial learning. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent advertising or access controls, or scrape the Library.
When you import a score, you confirm you have the right to use it for your personal practice. You keep your rights in what you upload; you grant us only the limited licence needed to process and display it back to you inside the app. You are responsible for the content you import.
Library scores originate from a public, community-sourced dataset (see The music). The OmniPiano name, brand, app design and arrangements are our intellectual property and may not be reused without permission.
The app is free and supported by advertising. An optional ad-free subscription is available at [€2.99/month · €14.99/year], billed through the app store, renewing until cancelled. Store terms govern billing, renewals and refunds.
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for injury caused by negligence or for intent and gross negligence). We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app. These terms are governed by the law of [Germany], without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
Where the Library comes from
OmniPiano's Library is built from PDMX, an open dataset of scores shared by the MuseScore community. We are grateful to the musicians who created and shared them. Where a score's licence allows, we prepare graded arrangements so the same piece can be learned at any level; where it does not, we hold only metadata and point you to the source.
Advertising keeps the app free to run. To be clear about it: ad revenue pays for infrastructure, transcription and development — it does not pay the people who wrote or arranged the music. More on how OmniPiano stays free.
