What OmniPiano does

A teacher's patience, at the piano.

Everything is built around one idea: keep the score in front of you, and meet you exactly where your hands are.

01

Follow the notes

Real staff notation, not a stream of coloured tiles. A soft wash marks the measure you're on, a cursor moves with the music, and the keys light in one calm indigo so you can look down and know exactly where to go.

02

Wait mode

Turn it on and the music stops for you. OmniPiano listens — through your MIDI keyboard if one is connected, otherwise the microphone — and only moves on once you've played the right notes. No rush, no penalty. It simply waits.

03

One hand at a time

Learning a piece is really learning two. Practise the left hand until it's easy, then the right, then bring them together — a plain toggle, no colour-coding to decipher, so it reads at a glance across the room.

Take it slowly

Drop the tempo to a quarter speed and play every note cleanly, then step it back up as your hands catch on. Wait mode and slow tempo are two ways to the same place — you choose which suits the passage.

The difference

Bring your own sheet music.

Every other app hands you a fixed catalog. OmniPiano lets you import a score — a PDF, a photo of the page, a MusicXML file — and turns it into a guided lesson with the same wait mode, hands practice and tempo as everything else. The piece you love, taught the way you'd learn any other.

Your score

PDF, a photo, or MusicXML — whatever you have.

Read & understood

OmniPiano recognises the notes and rebuilds the score.

A guided lesson

Now yours to learn — wait mode, hands, tempo and all.

Phone in your pocket, tablet on the stand

OmniPiano runs on phones and tablets alike. The tablet, propped on the music stand at arm's length, is where it feels most at home — the score large, the keys clear, your hands free.
